Feelings are definitely OK.

You don't need to stop them, control them,
or be decent about them.

All feelings are just feelings. You'll always be living in them.

They are the vitality and passion of every day life.


But the intensity of your feelings is like the pressure in a hose;
it can make your feelings shoot out a long way.
So when you feel bad you make everything bad.
When you feel good it sprays good all over.

Trouble is, if you are hanging onto a high pressure hose inside,
then your physiology can buckle and collapse.

Our bodies are so susceptible to emotional intensity
that intensity itself has become the dominant influence
on health and well being for all of us.

If you could just regulate your intensity,
you'd be in control without controlling.
